This tool is not for gross reduction of green state flash or sprue sections.
The #501 silicone wheel should be used for gross reduction, followed by the GS Contour tool at low rpm. This is a “finessing tool” for obtaining perfection of restoration.

STEP 1 After preliminary reduction of excess green state zirconia is completed using our #501 silicone wheel, the technician should make final adjustments with the GS Contour 2 step tool. The GS Contour tool should be used under loupes or micro-scope at the very last adjustment point.

The larger gray segment of this new and unique tool quickly reduces the larger final mass of the sprue with minimal risk for damage to the green state ZR.

STEP 2 The ultra fine white tip then gently removes any final excess material.
